An account to igneous rocks

Granite: Continental crust is mainly formed of this Ba rock. It is composed of quartz, feldspar, mica and ro homblende and the colour of this rock varies from white, grey to pink. This is an impermeable rock. Granite is m very much resistant to erosion as it is heavy and very hard. Granite is coarse granied as the magma is cooled and solidified very slowly in the earths interior (diameter >3 mm). Landforms developed on the regions of granite rock are generally rounded and domal.

Basalt: Ocenic crust is mainly formed of this igneous and rock. This highly erosion resistant, hard, heavy rock white, may be grey to black in colour. Chief constituent ite is minerals of basalt are feldspar, olivine and pyroxene. very This rock is highly permeable as there are many joints -oled and cracks present in this rock. As magma cools and meter solidifies rapidly basalt is fine granied (diameter is < s of 1mm). Flat topped landforms are formd in regions composed of basalt rock.

What is geothermal energy? by research studys

What is geothermal energy? Answer: It is a type of energy. The temperature of the earth's core waves outward. This thermal power is known as geothermal energy. Many countries of the world produce electricity from this thermal power. Iceland meets upto 30% of the total energy requirement from geothermal energy. The U.S.A produces highest amount of electricity in the world from geothermal energy. Electricity production from geothermal energy reduces the use of fossil fuel (coal, petroleum).
