What is Life and it's diversity

 Life and it's diversity

Introduction

Life science is the science of life or the science which deals with the study of living organisms. Living organism and environment are the two interdependent subjects in which one could not be isolated from the other. The term environment means our surroundings where the organisms live. It is the sum total of all living (biotic) and non-living (abiotic) factors. We see living organisms-plants and animals in our surroundings, we know many things about their habit and behaviour, but we could not easily define life. What is life? We know that all materials-living or non-living are formed of certain basic units called atoms. Atoms combine in specific manner to form various kinds of molecules. Living bodies are mixtures of very large and complex molecules functioning together in a coordinated manner. The principal components of protoplasm are largely responsible for the expression of life. Living organisms have the capacity to produce and utilize energy from their environment. They can build and maintain their own complex structures from simple raw materials. Reproduction is a property that can be regarded as unique of the living beings.

WHAT IS LIFE 🧬?

Definition: Life is a unique complex organization of molecules that expresses itself through chemical reactions which lead to growth, development, responsiveness, adaptation and reproduction.

What is geothermal energy? by research studys

What is geothermal energy? Answer: It is a type of energy. The temperature of the earth's core waves outward. This thermal power is known as geothermal energy. Many countries of the world produce electricity from this thermal power. Iceland meets upto 30% of the total energy requirement from geothermal energy. The U.S.A produces highest amount of electricity in the world from geothermal energy. Electricity production from geothermal energy reduces the use of fossil fuel (coal, petroleum).

What Is Classfication of waste (1) Solid waste, (2) Liquid waste, (3) Gaseous waste, (4) Toxic waste, (5) Non-Toxic waste:-

Classfication of waste: Depending upon the physical states, there are five types of wastes (1) Solid waste, (2) Liquid waste, (3) Gaseous waste, (4) Toxic waste, (5) Non-Toxic waste:-  (1) Solid waste: It is the solid portions of the discarded materials. It includes mainly domestic or household wastes like, kitchen waste with leftover cooked food, plastic, empty bottles, cans, broken glasses, discarded tyres, tubes, building rubbish, fly ash, carbon dust including various industrial wastes. (2) Liquid waste: Fluids as waste water, fats, oils or grease (FOG), used oil, excess manure,       hazardous household liquids, sewage effluents etc., are categorized as liquid wastes. (3) Gaseous waste: It includes uncontained airborne emissions and effluents, that may consist of particulate matter, dust, fumes, gas, mist, smoke, vapour or any combination. Examples of gaseous waste are particulate dust, gas flaring, lime dust, cigarette fumes, asbestos dust, waste gases and acid fumes.  (4) Toxic wa
